Some kind of shadow clouds my sky,
And there is no indication why.
Bits of ice fall to the ground,
What was whole is scattered around.

Why is the world frozen today?
Ice blocks the sun's rays.
I gave up more than you would.
I cannot see what I once could.

Searching for something in vain.
Among droplets of freezing rain.
